About Us

Lakeland Health Services operates independent Sleep Disorders Centers which have been serving patients and physicians since 2002. We offer a full service sleep program whose mission is to deliver comprehensive and thorough medical diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

At Lakeland we focus on the patient by providing full polysomnography testing by experienced sleep technicians and respiratory care practitioners specially trained in sleep diagnostics. In addition to a high level of clinical expertise, our testing is done with state of the art diagnostic equipment. Patients are educated regarding sleep diagnostic procedures and treatments.  Once a patient has been tested, an experienced sleep physician interprets the data and advises treatment options.

Continuing our philosophy and standard of care, we have enhanced our sleep program by providing CPAP services as well. This increases patient compliance rates for therapeutic success and also fills an enormous need in the local community. We can be more effective in treating OSA by not only diagnosing the patient but also by being aggressive in providing effective CPAP therapy to those who qualify. A Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) specializing in sleep related breathing disorders manages our CPAP program and allows us to continuously evaluate patient treatment, compliance, and outcomes. This optimizes and improves patient care and services.

Patients utilizing Lakeland Health Services, Therapeutic Division benefit by:

• More Effective Treatment and Follow-up Care
• Assuring that the appropriate CPAP candidate receive proper therapy as
    soon as possible
• Selection of quality CPAP equipment
• Initial mask selection and pt education
• Patient follow-up, management and intervention
• Immediate initiation of pt education and therapy
• Compliance tracking and enhancing optimal usage both
— Short term
— Long term
